2nd Level Reporting for Publishers

Some of the programmes on Affiliate Future operate on a 2nd level commission basis, where a penny is awarded for the initial order or application and the remaining commission added as a second level payment once the transaction has been validated as complete by the advertiser. These advertisers mainly operate in travel, mobile and insurance industries which offer a "cooling off" periods to new customers, should a new customer wish to cancel a contract or return goods. The 'cooling off' period might range between 14 to 30 days and it will be specified by an advertiser in their programme's terms. There are reports in the Affiliate Future interface where you can monitor the status of your orders on these programmes, which can be 2nd level sales or 2nd level leads. The best way to see which kind of tracking your advertiser uses is to visit the 2 summary pages;
This will show you a summary of how many 2nd level sales are pending, approved or declined.
This will show you a summary of how many 2nd level leads are pending, approved or declined.
Your merchant will only appear in the dropdown for sales if they use sales tracking and leads if they use leads tracking.
You can then check transactions individually with these 2 reports;
2nd Level Sales

2nd Level Leads

Please be aware that 2nd Level payments do not appear in the other affiliate reports, for example Commission Analysis, Cancellation Report and Overview Report, although 2nd Level payments can be seen in the Detailed Transaction Report available for download in Export Reports.
